Terms of service
Welcome to skyawa.com – a little shop full of interesting finds. By using our website, you agree to these terms. They’re here to protect both of us, not to confuse you.
1. Using our site properly
You’re allowed to browse, compare, and buy to your heart’s content. But please don’t:
-
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to pull our product data or prices – that’s not cool.
-
Post fake reviews, spam, or misleading comments.
-
Try to hack, overload, or damage our site.
-
Resell our products in bulk without asking us first.
We keep an eye on unusual activity and can block users if we spot a breach.
2. Orders and accounts
When you place an order, you’re making an offer to buy. We only accept that offer when we send you a shipping confirmation – not when you receive the order receipt.
If you create an account with us, you’re responsible for keeping your login details safe. If you suspect someone else is using your account, tell us straight away – we’ll lock it, but we can’t be liable for any actions taken before you notify us.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in AUD, USD, or EUR based on your location. We do our best to keep them accurate, but mistakes occasionally slip through. If a $50 item shows up as $5, we’ll cancel that order and refund you – we apologise in advance.
We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PayPal, and other popular methods shown at checkout. By submitting payment, you confirm you’re authorised to use that account.
4. When we might cancel your order
We reserve the right to cancel and fully refund your order if:
-
The product is out of stock after you ordered (it happens when multiple people buy the last piece at the same time).
-
A pricing error occurred.
-
Our payment system flags your transaction as potentially fraudulent.
We’ll email you with an explanation – we won’t disappear on you.
5. Our liability and things beyond our control
Our maximum liability to you is the total amount you paid for the order in question. We aren’t responsible for any indirect losses – for example, if you bought a gift and missed a birthday because delivery was late.
We also aren’t liable for delays caused by events we can’t reasonably control: postal strikes, extreme weather, customs hold‑ups, or carrier failures. If a package is stuck for a very long time, we’ll work with you to find a fair solution (refund or credit).
6. Which laws apply
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. For customers in Europe, North America, or other regions, your local consumer rights still apply – this clause doesn’t override them. Any disputes will first be discussed via email; if we can’t resolve it, we’ll go to the courts of Sydney, Australia.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update this page from time to time. The new date at the top will show when we last changed it. If you keep using skyawa.com after an update, we’ll take that as your acceptance.
